Q: Can I pair a Burberry tailored blouse (in the traditional Burberry check -- camel, black & cranberry) with a camel knee-length skirt, worn out with a thin black belt?

A: You absolutely can. That Burberry plaid is hotter than ever thanks to Burberry's new designer (whose name I can never remember) having re-imagined it in different scales and colors -- as well as the original -- plus other designers knocking it off, too. I saw it in a couple places at the Fashion Coterie, a giant fashion trade show on Piers 94 and 92 in New York. And narrow belts are the bees' knees now that waists are back. And camel is cool, too. And knee-length is the best. You can't lose in that outfit.
